She is super puffy. She is retaining a lot of fluid so her upper body and face really puffy. It's hard, but they said she should look like herself in a day or two. and that this is completely normal. We never saw the breathing tube, which is a blessing. She is on oxygen for now and receiving some blood transfusions which should help her feel better soon.
She is in and out of consciousness and they don't expect her to be fully awake for a few more hours. The plan is to try and feed her clear liquids with a bottle once she wakes and see how she does.
Bryan and I are going to try and catch a nap. We are exhausted!
