After many phone calls, emails, and begging, our cardiologists at CHOP managed to get Abby an earlier surgery date.
June 20th.
We will go down on the 19th and she will have a pre-surgical exam and sedated echocardiogram. They will keep her overnight and hydrate her and Dr. Spray will work his magic the next day. If all goes well, we should be home in less than a week.
My mom is flying in to help with Anna, so she will be well taken care of and spoiled by all her grandparents while Bryan and I are away.
We are excited to get this over with. We are relieved to finally have a date. However, we are nervous. Our baby girl is having open heart surgery. Again. Please keep Abby in your thoughts and prayers.
We'll keep you posted.

She is still in my thoughts. I hope everything goes well with this surgery. She's an amazing and precious little girl.
