Some Changes

We finally got some input from the electrophysiologists today. They decided to stop one of her medications and try a new one to see if it helps to regulate her rhythm. They have to watch her for at least 24 hours after starting a new medication so we're definitely not going home for a few more days. The EP people should be down to evaluate how she's doing tomorrow.

We also found some blood in Abby's diaper today. It looks like Abby has some sort of a food allergy, just like her big sister did. She is eating pumped breastmilk fortified with a soy calorie booster. So for now, they are going to take her off the soy to see if it helps. Otherwise, we might have to switch her over to formula. We'll have to wait and see. We're just happy to have someone else helping us figure out the allergies this time around!

Bryan and I have decided that we need to go home for awhile. So instead of staying in Philly and visiting Anna, we're going to go home and come to Philly for visits with Abby. We're just ready to get back into some sort of routine with Anna again. We miss her!

I'm praying that the new medications fixes her up good.

So sorry about the possible food allergies, that stinks. I was really hoping it would have different with her. At least your not dealing with it alone and you have someone who will listen to you.

I'm sure not being with both your girls is very hard. Soon it will be better and you will all be together.

Praying for Abby

I cannot imagine how difficult it's been to be away from Anna and going through so much in the hospital. You guys are so strong!
