Surgery Done

Abby came out of her surgery around 1:30. Everything went well. They closed up her chest, and she is on a breathing tube for now. They have already started the slow wean off of it, and hopefully she'll be totally off of it within the next 24-48 hours. Then the focus turns to feeding, which is a huge hurdle for most HLHS babies. Overall, she looks fantastic.

Bryan and I are doing well. Everything really is going better than expected. We are trying to get out for fresh air and rest as much as we can, and I am being discharged from HUP tomorrow.
