After Christmas

Abby continues to do well. We are able to hold her as much as we want. She still has a feeding tube but we started trying to feed her from a bottle as well. I got to feed her for the first time today, and she did great. We still have a long way to go before she is off the feeding tube, and we expect her to go home with it still in. The doctors are very happy with her progress so far.

We had a nice visit with Miss Anna yesterday. She is doing fantastic with all her grandparents and doesn't even seem to miss us all that much. She is eating more vegetables and sleeping better with Ya-Ya and Grandpa than she ever has for Bryan and me. Figures. She is currently way into playing Tea Party with her new tea set from Aunt Barbara and loves her baby doll. We're hoping that gets her ready for being a big sister!

Bryan and I have to take some classes over the next few days. One in infant CPR and one in how to manage Abby's feeding tube. Other than that, Abby is just going to work on recovering, and eating more by mouth and we are going to snuggle her as much as the nurses let us!
