An Inspirational Story

I got this from a support group I belong to and thought I would share.

It's the story of a 31 year old that has the same heart defect as Abby. Technology and treament have improved so much since then, it gives me real hope for the kind of future Abby could have.

The hardest part of being Abby's mom is the not knowing. It really lifts me up to see a story like this.

Fast forward in to about 19:40 since there are some other unrelated stoires in the beginning of the clip.

Alison,

Thank you so much for sharing this. It really does help to see someone older who is out there living a quality life. It's hard to imagine what our future holds. Thank You!

Hi! I actually stumbled onto your blog the other day, I just didn't have time to leave a comment, Your baby is beautiful and looks like she is doing well too! Thanks for leaving a comment! I have been slowly getting to read more of the heart babies blogs, each baby is a miracle and I can't help but love them for all the many things that they went trough and will have to go through!

I just wanted to say thank you for your blog. My wife is 23 weeks pregnant with our 2nd daughter (emma kate) and she has been diagnosed with HLHS. Reading blogs like yours has definitely been encouraging. We will be praying for Abby.

Dear Alison,
I just happened on to your blog from reading Gracie Gledhill's blog each day. I had never heard of HLHS before I met Gracie through Michelle's blog. I think that it is wonderful that you have recorded Abby's journey. I'm sure that it is encouragement to other parents that are going through this. Good luck as you continue your journey. May God bless your family and Abby.
